Hi there! Today the full post (with much detail and explanation) is over on the Newton’s Nook blog. This is just an overview on what I created with some pictures, a video, and a full product list. 🙂
On all of the cards, I used the Hedgehog Hollow stamp set and stamped the images using a super light tan ink to get a no line coloring effect later on.
For the first card, I used Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens and blended them out on Bristol cardstock to get a nice smooth effect.
For the second card, I used Peerless watercolors which come on sheets full of color and a little bit goes a long way. The watercolors gave really bright colors and vivid lines!
For the last card, I colored in the hedgehog using Gansai Tambi watercolors which are super rich and creamy and leave super bright colors. These are semi-opaque when layered, so make sure you stop when you have your desired effect!
Enjoy the video!

Those cards are gorgeous! I never knew how people did the “no line” coloring and painting. 🙂
Very nice job with the no line coloring. I haven’t done much of it, but really should give it a try. Very helpful video. Thanks!
