Hi there! Today I am on the Hero Arts blog using their awesome products and showing how to create gift card envelopes to spice up a gift card and make a fun and creative gift! This blog post is going to go show some examples, a full supplies list, and video (for more detailed information, head to the Hero Arts blog).
For all of the gift card envelopes, I used the Envelope Fancy die which is amazing for creating these super fast! I also stamped and colored images on top using Copic Markers and the adorable Woof and Purr stamp sets.
For the first two examples, I used regular cardstock and blended Hero Arts Hybrid ink pads to get a really bright blended effect.
On the last two envelopes, I blended the Hybrid inks onto vellum to get a nice soft effect over the gift cards. These inks are awesome for surfaces like vellum because they dry way faster and better than regular inks.
Enjoy the video!

Hi Simon – I’m a new visitor; came here from the Hero Arts blog. How talented you are! Enjoyed your video and your darling gift card holders. Thanks for the inspiration!!
Very nice gift card holders. I love the idea of the vellum. Thanks for sharing these with us. And by the way, I’m a dog fan too, and allergic to cats too.
Dog person but they have to have hair or I get skin allergies if I’m not careful…. same with cats though we’ve had them all through my life. Now, just a sweet lovie dog….
Nice job on your video for Hero Arts…
