Hi there and welcome back! Today’s video shares one of my favorite heat embossing technique to get unique stamp layering results because embossing powder is opaque.

On the first card, I used the Peony Blossom stamp set to create a layered floral scene. Layering embossing powder is very similar to stamp layering. I made sure to apply the anti static powder pouch in between each layer to ensure that there is no stray embossing powder. Using a stamp positioning tool can be helpful to stamp the second layer on the slick embossing powder.
Because the embossing powder is opaque, I layered a scene of butterflies with an embossed sentiment. I used the Butterfly Kisses stamp set to create layered embossing and mixed some embossing powders to create new colored effects. To layer images and sentiments, I stamped over the top of the images and layered the embossing powder over the top.

Awesome cards! Thanks for the technique video!
The two cards are awesome, but my favorite is the butterfly card, I loved it.
Beautiful cards. I never thought about layering embossing with a layering set like this. Thanks for showing us this technique. I can’t decide which I like better. I love the black background, but I love the butterflies on the other card. Hard to pick, so I won’t. LOL
