Interactive Window Box Card

Hello friends! In today’s video, I am sharing how to create an interactive window box card. These cards make an awesome 3D display for your recipient and are easy to fold down flat into an envelope!

To create the interactive folding card, I used the Tangled Terrace Window Box dies and Box Slits dies. These dies take out all of the preparation and ensure that everything will line up perfectly (the video shares how to put the card together in detail)!

I created a night sky using Distress Oxide inks in the colors: Tattered Rose, Wild Honey, Worn Lipstick, Seedless Preserves, Blueprint Sketch, and Black Soot. Flicking on drops of water lifts and oxidizes the color to create the look of stars. This creates a bright and colorful sunset background!

I used the In Paris stamp set to create a scene with some of the fun images. To create a mirror stamped image of the dog, I used the Backdrop stamp in my mini MISTI and used that to transfer the image. I colored them in with colored pencils and used my DIY Gamsol Marker to blend and smooth the colors together.

I love how 3D this card is and creates a great display, but the card folds down flat and is easily able to be sent through the mail. Anyone you send this interactive card to would love it!
