Hi friends! Since there was such an awesome response to my Craft Room Tour video I wanted to share more videos going in depth on each of my crafty storage methods. Today’s video shares how I swatch and store all my embossing powders to make them easy to use and very accessible.

COLOR SWATCHING
To make it super easy to see all of the colors, I heat embossed each powder directly onto the lid. This makes it easy to have the color with the jars of powder facing up in a drawer. It is super easy to do and very helpful to see the exact color for your projects!
LARGE CONTAINERS
I store my more used embossing powders in Sistema Sandwich Containers. This makes it easy to emboss projects and contain the mess inside a container. I put a few jars of embossing powder with a spoon in each container to make it very easy to use.

Thanks for giving us a look at the embossing powder organization. Very helpful. Right now, mine are in a hodge podge, they need some organization and I love to idea of color swatching the tops. I don’t have drawer space, so I usually keep them in a basket or a box on a shelf. I’m always up for suggestions on organizing. Thanks!
Simon,
Hi!! I LOVE the idea of the swatch on the lid – no paper involved. Every time I use paper, it comes off or doesn’t fit the top as neatly as I’d like. I’m going to my craft room and fixing up my ‘not as often used’ embossing powders with this system. I really appreciate this idea! I’m a fan of Jennifer McGuire also, I have my ‘frequently used’ powders set up the same as you’ve shown – and I love it.
Thank you for sharing your ideas, they are so very helpful.
