Hi there! Slider cards have been taking over the cardmaking and crafting world by storm and I love the look and interactive portion of the cards. So, today I am excited to show how to create a slider card using NO DIES! 🙂
Lawn Fawn has a die set to create these cards that makes it easier and cleaner to cut the slider portion. However, I would create a couple without them to see if you like these interactive cards. Personally, I love them!
To create the colorful backgrounds, I swiped Umbrella Crafts ink pads across the surface of my cards. This gives a simple and colorful background to work on top of.
For the first card, I cut a rectangle slider portion going across the card panel. Then, I applied stamps from the cute Easter Wishes stamp set on the penny slider and around the opening on foam tape. This allows the image to slide behind images and creates a cool scene.
On the second card, I created a slider opening vertically on the card for a different effect. I applied images from the Froggy Friends stamp set to the slider and around it to create a lake scene. This allows the frog to hop up and down onto a lily pad!
(There is much more detailed explanation in the video on how to create these fun slider cards).
Enjoy the video!

Really cute cards. I really like that you made these with no dies, because my limited budget doesn’t allow too many extras. Think I will have a go at this………just got to figure out how wide to make the cut………better find my pennies!! LOL Thanks for the video!
Great job on these cards. Love that you showed how to do the sliders without the die. Thanks for sharing this with us.
Suscribed to you on youtube, love your lessons! Just a quick question how wide is the slider portion in your cards?
