Inlaid Raised Die Cutting

Hi there! Today I am using one die and a bunch of stamps from Winnie and Walter to create a ton of card examples with a creative and unique spin on inlaid die cutting.

I started out by stamping all of the images onto card panels using the Big Hugs and Welcome To The Family stamp sets. I love these images because the animals hugging can be used for friendship, love, sympathy, and many other occasions!

I masked off underneath the critters and softly ink blended some bright distress inks below them for a grounding place.

Then, I lined up the Precious die in between the color and animals and cut it out. Next, I adhered the positive portion of the die cut on the card base lined up through the cut. Finally, I popped up the card panel on the card base right above the die using foam tape.

These are the examples that I created using Copic Sketch Markers to color in the critters.

Here are the card examples I created using Zig Clean Color Pens on Bristol cardstock to get easy blending and a watercolor look!

To make all of the sentiments different, I white heat embossed the little cursive sentiments from the Sentimental: Love stamp set on black cardstock and adhered them in different places on the cards.
