Hi there! It’s been awhile since I’ve been able to craft… we are in the middle of a little craft room renovation project (I’ll be sharing updates here) that I’m excited to share with you all in 2018. 🙂 Anyway, today’s video shares how to easily create interactive scratch cards that are lots of fun!
(Looking for anything that I used in the video? All of the supplies are linked with images to multiple stores at the end of this post. Compensated affiliate links used when possible. Watch the full video HERE in HD!)
Unlike most interactive cards, these scratch cards don’t take much planning and are pretty easy to create (which is always a bonus during this busy season)! 🙂
Scratch-Off Card
For the first card, I created a scene with the adorable Ornament Mice stamp set and watercolored it using Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens.
Once the card was finished, I added a Scratch-Off Sticker on top of the ornament to hide the sentiment. I also stamped a ‘scratch gently’ phrase next to the ornament so the recipient knows what to do.
Scratch & Sniff Card
On the second, I stamped an image from the Christmas Pine Bears stamp set and watercolored it with Distress Markers. Then, I created an interactive window in the card base using the Square Lift-Up Flap dies and adhered the image behind it.
To make this card interactive, I added a Pine Scented Scratch & Sniff Sticker on top of the pine tree (which smells wonderful)! The sticker is clear and invisible unless reflected off of light, so it won’t affect your image.
