Hi there! Today I am super excited to show you how to create an interactive light-up card using the STEM kit from Chibitronics. These cards are really fun to create and experiment with to get the lights to work. 🙂
I started by creating a stamped scene using the Super Kids stamp set from Lil’ Inker Designs and colored everything in using Copic Markers. I kept the coloring SUPER simple because I wanted the lights to stand out!
The video gives much more information about how to create the circuits using the mini LED light kit and it gives a great visual/explanation.
Here is what the card looks like when it is not lit up (I still love it)!
These cards are a little expensive to create, so they are great for special people and occasions! Anything that is in the light kit can be bought individually and you can keep creating light-up cards when you run out of supplies.
Have a great day!!!
