Hey there! Today’s video shares a fun way to create stamp layered effects using beautiful foils to add depth and layers. I love playing with stamp layering sets and testing out many ways to use them that are unique. The technique that I am sharing gives simple, yet stunning results using beautiful foils to create the layered images.

On today’s examples, I am using the Build-a-Flower: Peony Blossom set to create all of my flowers. I love this set because it gives beautiful results and includes dies that cut right along the edge to create realistic looking flowers to create bouquets on cards!
On the first example, I foiled the second stamped layer using a darker foil of the same color. It has the traditional look of depth with stamp layering, but with a bit of beautiful foiling! Here I used Pink Melon and Grass Green foil.
For the simple script sentiments, I used the Painted Greetings stamp set. I kept the cards very simple to keep the focus on the flowers, but you could add some embellishments or shimmer!
For the second card, I used Silver Sequins foil for a unique look on top of the Peony image. This gives fun results and creates a cool holographic sequin pattern when you turn it in the light!

This is very pretty! I love the shine of foil but I have no machine to heat it with. Thanks for the video. Does the embossing act like glue? I’m wondering if I embossed and then used a heat gun and pressure of some kind of I could get the same effect. Maybe I will try it.
Love the shine from the foil!
