To get the best results, I created the embellishments on separate cardstock and gave them plenty of time to dry before adding them to any projects.

On the first two cards, I created a basic flower outline that looks simple and stunning. I created a dot for the center and slowly applied the drops in petal shapes around the dot. As I moved outward, I made the petals larger to make the flower look full and blooming!

On the next card, I created a different flower with larger petals using Glitter Drops. Playing around with different designs using the drops is a bunch of fun!

For the next two examples, I created larger flower outlined shapes and filled them in with a darker or lighter color to add some shading and dimension. This creates a more life like image and looks really stunning on finished projects!

On the final card example, I stamped down outline images from the Be Strong stamp set in a light tan ink. This acts as an outline that is easy to trace with different drop colors and gives awesome final results.

To create the colorful textured backgrounds, I used Altenew ink pads and stamped them in fun patterns on the card bases. These inks are great for creating backgrounds because they come in four shades of one color grouping and they have a nice oval shape! These backgrounds created just enough color and pattern without distracting from the embellishments.
