For the first card, I used the Silver Sparkle cardstock as the base for my alcohol ink background. I was pleasantly surprised how the alcohol inks beautifully reacted on this cardstock and it turns any ink sparkly and shiny… which I love! By the way, the glitter is smooth and doesn’t come off on your fingers (which is very important to me).

I finished off the under the sea background with fish images from the Space Training stamp set colored in with DIY Simon Hurley create. reinker markers.

On the second example, I used the Matte Black cardstock which is super smooth and dark. To use this with regular alcohol inks, apply a layer of Snow Cap mixative and lay the ink on the top. In this case, I applied alcohol ink pearls on the black surface which gave vibrant color with a beautiful shimmer and shine!

I stamped and colored images from the Trampoline Friends stamp set to finish off the card and create a playful scene. I just love these adorable animal images!

On the last card, I used the Brushed Silver cardstock as the base for my alcohol inked background. This beautiful surface looks like real metal and illuminates the inked colors that go on top!

To finish off the card, I die cut the background using circle dies and created a scene with images from the Space Training stamp set.
