Hello! Today I’m going to show you a technique that is old, but good :). I am going to be showing you gold embossing powder resisting bright watercolors using ZIG Clean Color markers.
I started by using the mini MISTI to stamp and gold heat emboss a detailed deer head image from the Adventure Awaits stamp set from Newton’s Nook. Then, I watercolored on top of the embossing using bright assorted Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens. I love these watercolor markers because they have a paintbrush tip and can be spread like butter! Next, I blended them out and softened the color using a water brush.
To add some detail to the background I used small images that came in the stamp set and stamped them randomly using Fog ink. To add a sentiment I heat embossed “Adventure Is Waiting” in white powder on black cardstock. To finish the card off I stitched along the edges to give it some texture and dimension and added it all onto a card base.
Enjoy the video!
