Hey there! Today I am sharing a fun double stenciling technique using Glimmer Paste to create beautiful textured and glittery backgrounds on cards.

For the first card, I created a blended background using Blue Topaz, Sapphire Blue, and Tanzanite Lavender Glimmer Paste through the Mermaid Waves stencil. Once dry, I added a layer of Moonstone paste overtop to fill in the blank areas and smooth out the background.
Some of the colored pastes have different colors of glitter inside which creates a beautiful shine when you tilt them in the light! 🙂
On the second example, I created my own stencil using the Budding Vine die and added Peridot Green paste through the design. Once dry, I added Sapphire Blue paste to fill in the design with a nice contrast.
And the best part? The glitter doesn’t come off once the paste background is all dry!
