Hi there! Today’s video shares how to create a Gamsol marker to easily blend and smooth colored pencils. I struggle to get great results using paper stumps to blend my colored pencils, but this DIY Gamsol marker makes coloring faster, easier, and more portable.

To create the Gamsol marker, I used an alcohol ink blending pen. This marker comes empty and you can fill it up with Gamsol to create a blending marker (see filling instructions in the video).
For both of my card examples, I used the Stamp TV Hearts and Flowers kit which is packed with beautiful supplies. I love this kit because it is so well thought out and you can create lots of card projects!
On the first card, I scribbled a bit of color down in the small images and quickly blended them using the marker. Since the image is so detailed, the coloring doesn’t have to be perfect. I scribbled the marker off in between colors to clean off the marker’s tip.
For the second example, I quickly added three different colors to each petal of the large flowers and leaves. Then, I went over the colors using the Gamsol marker to create a smooth and even blend on each petal.
