Hi friends! In today’s video, I share how to create your own colorful sprays using Nuvo Mousse and how to create several projects using it. This is such a fun way to get more use out of the mousse and create a completely different look on your projects!

You can create the sprays in whatever bottles you have. I use Nuvo Spray Bottles because I like the locking feature and spray handle which keeps your hand a bit cleaner when using the sprays! I mixed in 2 or 3 scoops of the mousse into the bottle (more or less depending on how saturated you want the color to be). Then, I added a bit of water and shook up the mixture until the chunks of mousse were dissolved.
To create the first card, I sprayed the color through a stencil to create a simple background. I added bold stamping on top of the background using the Hipster stamp set (I just love those quirky animals). This created a masculine card that is simple, yet bold!
On the second example, I sprayed a die cut with color for a fun and organic look. I also used Indian gold mousse (in a spray) to create a shimmery gold background for the die cut to sit on. To finish off the card, I added a small sentiment from the Sea Friends stamp set and added some Nuvo drops to the die cut flowers.
I created the next two cards using one background that I created with the sprays and lots of stencils. I used the Mariposa Wings die to cut out of the background and made sure to keep all of the little die cut pieces. Then, I covered the card base with the 6-inch adhesive roll (this stuff is so awesome and sticky) and pieced the background back together with a black die cut. This creates a beautiful background that is completely smooth and inlaid!
On the last card, I used the positive wings die cut from the background and adhered it to cardstock that I sprayed gold (using my DIY Indian gold spray). I finished the card off with a stacked ‘prayers’ die cut for a bold and beautiful effect!

Love the technique. I think the Lily Spray card is my favorite. Good job!
