Well hello there! Today’s video will be showing you very clean and simple stamping for the Stamp Of Approval “Young At Heart” collection. I will be using the Ring In The Celebration stamp set to create today’s fun and easy card.
To create my row of colorful birthday icons I used my MISTI stamping tool to get them lined up perfectly. I had to put and ink them individually onto the tool, the grid really helps to get the images stamped straight onto the wide panel.
In the stamp set there are a bunch of circle designs and sentiments, I used the “lets party” circle and cut it. Now do not worry the stamp can easily be mounted and stamped in its original position. I mounted it straight onto an acrylic block with grid lines and stamped it below the birthday icons.
Next, I added a thin coat of Glossy Accents onto all of the icons to give them some fun gloss. Finally, I added the panel onto a black card base with some foam tape for added dimension.
Stamp Of Approval is a quarterly box jam packed with goodies that you can use over and over on all of your stamping projects. With no instructions in the box, you are able to make as many cards as you want and let your creativity run wild! The products in this special box will not be released until much later in 2016, so grab the box quick.

Hi Simon I really like this CAS card. The colore are nice and bright and the black layer of CS really makes the colors pop along with that bit of gloss. Great card tfs!
Fabulous CAS card Simon! I love that you cut the circle sentiment and made it long and straight. Awesome use of the collection! Can’t wait to see what more you have in store for us in the PDF!
Great card! I love the colors you used.
Nice CAS card Simon! I love that you cut the circle to make the sentiment row. Keep up the good work! Loving your videos.
You are fearless, Simon! I don’t know if I can cut my ring of sentiments apart, but I’m going to give it a try. Thank you for reaching out to Catherine and telling her you would knock her socks off if she gave you a box to design with.
Oh Simon!! This is fantastic! It’s great to see how you were able to straighten out the circle sentiment and use it in a completely different way. I will definitely be using that idea! Thanks for the great video!
Great fun card!
Very creative Simon, I like this a lot! A great job!
Simplicity is so wonderful. You are far beyond me when I was thirteen.
Hi Simon ~ Awesome CAS card!! Adding the glossy finish at the end always adds a nice “pop” to any card, especially when combined with the black cardstock. Thanks for sharing!
