Happy Friday all! Today’s video shares how to color texture paste to create unique colorful backgrounds with only one texture paste. This is an awesome way to stretch your paste and get beautifully colored and textured card backgrounds.

For the card, I used Transparent Gloss Texture Paste and colored it using Simon Hurley create. inks. You only need a bit of paste for each color and this creates beautifully colored pastes in several colors!
Then, I applied the paste over the Frostbite stencil and added a light dusting of glitter on top using the glitter duster.
To finish off the card, I white heat embossed the sentiment “Silent Night, Holy Night” from the Caroling Squad stamp set and added it to the center of the card. I left the card simple, but I love how the texture paste provides a beautiful focal point on the card.
For a simpler approach to the Frostbite stencil, I smooshed several ink colors on the stencil and sprayed it with water to make the colors run.
Then, I placed the stencil down onto the card and it creates a beautiful watercolor effect with little effort. I finished off the card with a ‘Cheers!” sentiment from the Bestest Friends stamp set.
