Hi friends! Today’s video shares how to step up your projects by adding hot foiling details to your stamping and ink blending. I love how resilient hot foiling is and the beautiful shine it provides!
(Looking for anything that I used in the video? All of the supplies are linked with images to multiple stores at the end of this post. Compensated affiliate links used when possible. Watch the full video HERE in HD!)
For the first card, I used the Gilded Rose Hot Foil Plate to foil the outline with gold foil. Then, I used the Layering Stencil with Simon Hurley create. ink pads to blend and shade the coloring on the rose.
Then, I used the excess ink on the stencil to create a beautiful watercolor rose. I finished off the card by adding the shading layers to add dimension to the more abstract rose.
On the third card, I used the Sparkle Bright Hot Foil Plate to add silver foiling details. Then, I stamped the details and shading with colors using the Sparkle Bright stamp set. The stamp layers make it easy to add shading to the image.
For the fourth card, I used the Sunburst Doily Foil Plate with gold foiling and blended it with color using Simon Hurley create. ink pads. I created a dimensional background using the Dotty Circles Embossing Folder with ink.
