Stamp Cleaning (4 Ways)

Hi everybody! Stamp cleaning is super important if you want to keep your stamps nice for a long time. It is something I have struggled with, but I have four easy solutions that will help you clean your stamps depending on what you prefer.

Here are the solutions I use:

Clorox Wipes – These are good for cleaning your stamps in a pinch because you probably already have them. They sometimes leave some ink residue on your stamp and you will have to dry it off after. These wipes are great for cleaning almost everything in your craft room and could be taking over the cleaning world!

*Hero Arts Ultra Clean – This is the best, of the best, of the best stamp cleaning sprays in the world! This stuff cleans your stamps to perfection with no residue and no left over ink. All of that is good, but it all comes down to the fact that this cleaner is not harmful in any ways to your stamps. You can use this alone, but I do use it with other cleaning tools…

Stamp Scrubber – This is an all in one cleaning tool that you can use with the Ultra Clean. I call it the “Lazy Person Cleaner” because it is so easy to use! All you have to do is spry your cleaner on one side, scrub your stamp, and dry it on the other side. The scrubber cleans your stamps super well and does not leave any wet residue on your stamps.

Absorber Bins “DIY” – This makeshift cleaning tool works great with only two needed supplies. To make this mini “DIY” cut a car absorber into squares and put it into an airtight container. Spray these with your Ultra Clean and wipe your stamps down. It’s a quick and simple project with great cleaning results.

A Sponge – Although this sounds super weird… it works super well. I know what you are thinking wow he really uses everything in sight to clean his stamps. Although by saying that you might be right, but this actually works very well! Spray some Ultra Clean onto a dense sponge and wipe your stamp clean then dry it in another area of the sponge. This works very well as a cheaper alternative for other methods and leaves no ink or residue!

I hope you found at least one method that will work well for you stamp cleaning needs!
