Hi there! Today I will be showing you how to use one small stamp and create a repetitive background using different colors of ink.
I am using the Simon Says Stamp Hourglass stamp set, and will be using the larger triangle image to create my background. Adding gold embossing to your background is another fun twist to layer up your card and add extra detail!
I stamped my background using four bright colors of ink from Simon Says Stamp including: Catkin, Teeny Bikini, Sunshine, and Audrey Blue. After it was all stamped I went in with a striped triangle and gold embossed some of them randomly.
The sentiment was stamped on the large Sketchy Banner die using gold heat embossing. It says “Congratulations Wishing You The Very Best”.
I die cut the waves from the Splashy Waves die set and colored them in with different Copic blue shades. The sailboat was also stamped and colored in using Copics.
Enjoy the video!

This card is amazing! So much in the way of visual interest. Geometric shapes, beautiful colors, perfect touches of gold and to finish it all off that beautiful litle boat. I would love to be in that boat looking out on the colorful sea. Just wonderful! I can’t wait until Wednesday ! See you then ❤️
