Hi there! I am excited to announce that I am one of the newest Brutus|Monroe designers. In today’s video I am excited to share a fun card featuring emboss resist Distress Ink smooshing. I will be using the Wonderful World stamp set to create today’s card!
To emboss the sentiment and flowers I used Brutus|Monroe embossing ink and Gilded embossing powder. I also used the smooth side of Distress watercolor card stock.
To create the ink smooshed background I used the Distress Inks in the colors: Abandoned Coral, Fossilized Amber, Cracked Pistachio, and Mermaid Lagoon. I love how these four new Distress colors look when used together!
To add a bit of extra detail I used a black 0.005 Micron pen to draw in a stitched border around the flowers.
