With all of the amazing new ink colors being released from Simon Says Stamp I could not resist doing some ink blending in today’s video. I will also be using a stamp set from Mama Elephant called Woodland Gifts to do some creative masking.
I have been watching a lot of Laura Bassen’s videos lately and her bright color palette and awesome ink blending skills have inspired me a lot for today’s card!
To watercolor in the little woodland animals I used Zig Clean Color Real Brush Pens, which have quickly become one of my favorite coloring tools.
I used Teeny Bikini, Hot Mama, Green Apple, and Lucky ink pads from the new Splash Of Color release to blend out my vibrant background. These are some great new ink colors and I was very happy with my results!
I stamped the “Thanks For Everything” sentiment from Happy Block Greetings onto a Sketchy Banner die using Teeny Bikini ink.
It is so fun to play around with these products to create your own fun little scene on a card.
I hope you will enjoy today’s video!

Wow Simon this card is amazing! The colors, the blending, the details are all wonderful. I hope you have shared this card with Laura I think she would be thrilled to know how well you have picked up on her techniques and then made them your own. She is a hoot I just love her videos. I have visited you a few times and I’m very impressed with your work. Sorry this is the first time I left a comment. I will try and do better in the future. Hi, Simon! I just found your blog and YouTube channel and I am so thrilled! I started my own channel a few months ago and videos are a lot of work and commitment. I can’t say enough how impressed I am with both your designs and your videos. I can’t wait to share this with my daughter who wants to make her own videos. I subscribed and I can’t wait to see what you do next!
