Hi friends! Today, I am super excited to be joined by my mom for a fun cardmaking challenge video… we both created really fun cards using Simon Hurley create. products that were picked at random. In doing this, we got to mix products that we might not think of using together on one card!

After choosing out supplies randomly, I left my mom alone in the craft room to create on her own. She created an ink blended background using Overzealous, Remember Me, Triple Berry ink and the Backsplash stencil (and the Make Art STAY-tion came in handy to hold it in place)! Then, she used the puppy from the Space Training stamp set and grounded it on a strip cardstock stamped with the Splinter background stamp. I just love how her first card turned out!
For my card, I blended a background using the Slippery When Wet, Over The Moon, and Clear Skies inks. I sprayed water through the Stargazer stencil for the top and the Painted Lines background stamp with water which reacts with the ink on the bottom to create beautiful patterns in the background. This creates a great grounding point on the card for my puppy that I used from the Dudes Too stamp set!
