5 Cards 1 Stamp Set – Easy Christmas Cards!

Hey friends! I always love sharing techniques on how to get the most use out of your stamp sets and products by thinking outside of the box. Today’s video shares how to create 5 easy Christmas Cards that look stunning using the Yuletide Gatherings stamp set!

For the first card, I used one of the images and embossed it in a repeating pattern onto grass green cardstock. Then, I added some shadow blending using some Later Gator ink and a few Christmas Red Stickles to add some detail to the berries. I think sometimes people underestimate the power of creating a background using only one image… it looks like beautiful patterned paper!

On the second example, I colored directly onto the stamp using several colors of Distress Markers. Then, I sprayed it with a bit of water and you get two beautifully watercolored stamped images! I finished off the card with the Splinter background stamp and a few gems in the center of the poinsettia.

For the third example, I stamped and embossed the large bouquet hanging off the edge of the cardstock. Then, I went in with several colors of Simon Hurley create. inks to create loose color on the images. I heavily sprayed the colors with water to make them blend and create a beautiful watercolor effect!

For the fourth card, I pieced together some of the smaller images and used them to create an embossed background. Then, I ink blended the background in colorful stripes using my inks. I finished off the card with a sentiment from the Caroling Squad stamp set and absolutely love how the non-traditional colors look!

On the final example, I colored and stamped an image using Distress Markers again. I kept this card super simple to show how easy it would be to create lots of these cards for the Christmas season!
