5 Cards 1 Stamp – Easy Stamping Techniques!

Hi there! A lot of people want to know how to get more use out of your stamps and supplies… and I’m with you! In today’s video, I am sharing how to use 1 stamp from the Caroling Squad stamp set to create 5 cards… and this stamp set still has tons of other images for even more versatility.

For the first card, I stamped and heat embossed the trees on an angle going off the edge of the card. This can be a great way to change it up and get a new look… don’t be afraid to play with positioning! Then, I used Simon Hurley create. inks to blend colors on top of the trees.

On the second example, I heat embossed the tree in the center of the card. Then, I used my inks to watercolor the tree and background. I mix greens with blue colors to change it up and create new tones for the tree!

On the third card, I stamped and heat embossed the trees around the card hanging off the edge. This time I created a night sky blended background using blues, purples, and yellows with my inks. I love the unique design this created and made a star in the center of the card!

For the next card, I heat embossed the tree onto a piece of kraft cardstock. Then, I added color using my inks with water on acetate to create some fun controlled watercoloring!

On the fifth card, I stamped the tree several times and watercolored it in using Simon Hurley create. inks. Then, I cut out the layers of the tree individually and added them onto the card with varying layers of foam tape. This creates a beautiful dimensional look to the card! I finished off the card with a simple yet beautiful tone on tone background using the Frostbite stencil.
