Hi there! I wanted to pop in here quickly to share a card that I have created using dye inks on kraft card stock. With all of the layering stamps out right now I decided to use the Vintage Flowers stamp set from Altenew.
Kraft card stock is so versatile to use for many techniques. For me it has been a staple in my craft room ever since I started.
I used Simon Says Stamp ink pads in the following colors: Khaki, Dark Chocolate, Cotton Candy, Hot Lips, Maliblue, Audrey Blue, Lemon Chiffon, Sunshine, Green Apple, and Green Leaf.
Adding the white pen detail on and around the images adds some detail and makes them pop.
I also stamped the sentiment “You are always so thoughtful” from the Altenew Bejeweled stamp set in Slate ink.
This technique is super fun to mute the brighter colors of your dye ink and I hope you will give it a try!
Enjoy the video!

Simon this card is so soft and elegant. It has a bit of an Asian feel to it with the thin branch, delicate flowers and leaves. Thank you for sharing how lighter die base inks show up on the craft CS. I love working with craft CS nd this is just one more technique to try. Thanks again!
